Metal Gear Online Beta is available for download
Starting last night, if you entered your Metal Gear Online Beta code, on the PSN, you were prompted to start downloading MGO Beta.
Obviously you still cannot play it until the 21st, or so they say.
The download is at 741MB.
You must go to “Account Management” > “Transaction Management” > “Redeem PlayStation Network Card or Promotional Code”

The download goes smoothly. But the v1.01 update you have to download next takes forever. haha. At least we will be prepared for the 21st

It took me close to 5 hours to download the update, so its definitely something you want to do in advance.
The real hard part is actually getting through the Konami ID registration process.

The size of the update is 841 MB. Even larger than the Beta download itself. Took me about 4 hours on an 8Mb line…
