Unfortunately I pre-ordered my copy at the location where I work. (which is not GameStop/EB Games) So I’ll be waiting until we open to run in and get my copy… that is if we have received them beforehand and I know we’ll have them.
Hopefully I’ll be allowed to sneak my copy out early and just buy it the next time I come in if we get them early.

I’m not a big fan of GameStop/EB Games. I pre-ordered mine at BestBuy. I would rather wait until 8am then next morning than support GameStop because of previous problems with them. :/

After looking at the list, wouldn’t it have been easier to publish which ones don’t have the midnight sale? lol

I’m thinking about sitting this one out, actually. I was at my game store earlier tonight and I was asking if they would have any promotional/thank you SWAG (Stuff We All Get) for the people that show up to the midnight release. Unfortunately, they won’t. So, I think I’ll wait until later in the morning of the 28th (9:30am) when the store re-opens. They’ll be getting daily shipments of IV standard and special edition, so I’m not really worried about missing out. They’ve always held/had enough copies of big games in the past, so I think I’ll be OK.

The one on 85th and W. Broadway in NYC is opening at midnight, unfortunately I’ll be in Key West and can’t pick it up til I get back on Wed.

Seems like I’ll be canceling my pre-order at my place of work, instead I’ll be attending the midnight launch at the local GameStop.

I hope you can get your hands on one.
Do you think there will be extra copies for those that didnt pre-order? My brother in law is coming with me tomorrow night and he hasnt pre-ordered.

There USUALLY are extras for those who didnt preorder.
IGN and 1UP both gave GTA IV 10/10s. First 10 for IGN since Soul Caliber in 1999.

Even GameInformer gave GTA IV a perfect 10. This game must really be that good.
I am dying to see the Edge Magazine review. They are harsh.
